1. Overview
Buyer Protection gives eligible buyers a structured way to ask DealKiste to review transaction problems involving delivery, item condition, returns, refunds, or payment handling.
2. Scope
The process applies only within DealKiste marketplace workflows and only where the listing, checkout, payment method, seller status, and transaction record meet the applicable eligibility criteria.
3. Eligible transactions
Eligible transactions generally require a public DealKiste listing, an active seller, a supported checkout flow, a valid order record, and payment through a supported DealKiste method.
4. Eligible payment methods
Supported methods may include DealKiste bank transfer instructions and Stripe-powered card, wallet, or local payment methods when those methods are enabled and available for the transaction.
5. What may be covered
DealKiste may review item-not-received reports, materially different item reports, approved return outcomes, approved refund cases, and related payment-settlement holds.
6. Item not received
A buyer may report that an eligible item was not delivered after the expected fulfilment process and any required seller response period have been followed.
7. Item materially different from the description
A buyer may report that an eligible item differs materially from the listing description, photos, stated condition, included accessories, or agreed transaction terms.
8. Returns and refunds
Return and refund outcomes are handled through the existing DealKiste return, refund, dispute, financial hold, and review workflows.
9. Buyer responsibilities
Buyers should pay through supported DealKiste checkout methods, review listings carefully, keep communication on DealKiste where possible, respond on time, and provide accurate evidence.
10. Seller responsibilities
Sellers should describe items accurately, fulfil orders within the applicable process, retain dispatch or handover evidence, respond to support requests, and follow return decisions.
11. Deadlines
Requests may be subject to reporting, response, return-shipping, evidence, and review deadlines shown in DealKiste workflows or communicated by support.
12. Evidence requirements
DealKiste may ask for listing screenshots, photos or video, package records, tracking events, handover confirmations, messages, payment records, or other transaction evidence.
13. Review and decision process
Support may review the transaction history, evidence from each party, fulfilment events, payment state, account signals, and policy exclusions before deciding next steps.
14. Refund handling
Approved refunds are processed through DealKiste’s existing refund and payment workflows and may depend on provider status, available funds, and internal financial review.
15. Financial holds and settlement
DealKiste may restrict seller settlement or keep internal financial holds while an eligible return, refund, dispute, fulfilment exception, or protection case is unresolved.
16. Exclusions
Protection may not apply to offline arrangements, unsupported payment methods, buyer remorse where no return right applies, unverifiable claims, excluded items, or missed process deadlines.
17. Prohibited items
Items prohibited by DealKiste policy, law, payment-provider rules, shipping rules, or safety requirements may be excluded from Buyer Protection.
18. Abuse and fraudulent claims
False reports, manipulated evidence, collusion, repeated misuse, chargeback abuse, or attempts to move transactions off DealKiste may lead to claim denial or account action.
19. Appeals or further review where supported
Where DealKiste supports further review, a party may be asked to provide new or corrected evidence within the stated timeframe.
20. Relationship to legal rights
Buyer Protection is a marketplace process. It does not remove non-waivable statutory rights, consumer rights, payment-provider rights, or court and authority options that may apply.
21. Privacy and evidence handling
DealKiste handles evidence and transaction data for support, safety, payment, compliance, audit, and dispute-resolution purposes under its privacy practices.
22. Contact and support
Buyers and sellers should contact DealKiste support through the available account or public support channels and include the relevant order or listing information.
23. Policy updates
DealKiste may update this explanation as marketplace workflows, payment-provider capabilities, fulfilment processes, or support procedures change.
